2011 is rolling

Now that Spring Training is rolling, I will be posting more often than I have been to this point. Why? There is simply more to talk about. What is going on?

Neftali Feliz is getting a shot at a rotation spot. If you have already drafted, pray he doesn’t get it. He is far more valuable as a top-5 closer than a starter outside the first 50 SP.

Miguel Cabrera‘s off the field issues do not affect his fantasy value too much. The only reason to let him fall is if you are targeting a 1B later (i.e. Kendry Morales, Justin Morneau).

Coco Crisp was arrested under suspicion of DUI. There is lots of speed in the outfield. You can get other guys in the same area without the risk. Then again, you weren’t reaching for Crisp anyway.

Brandon Webb has thrown some bullpen sessions and has no setbacks. I’m tentatively in. That means, if you can get him for $2 in an auction, or at the very tail end of your snake draft, I wouldn’t complain. I wouldn’t go above $5.

Adam Wainwright is done for the season.

Jered Weaver and Josh Johnson are being WAY underdrafted. They are both aces with top-10 SP potential. Johnson is a guy I’ve been targeting heavily.

I will be starting Q&A again, so keep your emails coming with draft and trade questions.
