Cheap saves will be had

If you play in deeper leagues where saves can be thin on Opening Day, take a hard look at Jordan Walden, Jason Motte, Mike Adams, and Luke Gregerson.

I’m in the camp that thinks Heath Bell will be dealt. Gregerson and Adams would probably split save chances, but both are capable. Watching the aging Ryan Franklin blow his first save chance, to Cameron Maybin no less, makes me wonder how long before the Cards hand Motte the closing job that has his name on it.

How long will the Angels hand the 9th inning ball to Fernando Rodney? Walden is extremely talented, and the Angels want him to be their man in the near future. It could be any week now.
