Shane Victorino out, Domonic Brown in

The Phillies have placed Shane Victorino on the 15-day DL and have brought Domonic Brown up to the majors. He was expected to start the season as the right fielder, but a broken hand kept him out until now.

Don’t go crazy. Brown will be streaky early on. But he does have impressive raw power, and useful speed. He is a batting average risk right now, but can produce in the other categories. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 15 homers and 10 steals if he holds onto a starting spot when Victorino comes back.

  1. I’m not going to risk getting him. Domonic Brown is way too inexperienced and inconsistent for me.
